*Edo Speaker, Onobun appoints Ikhine as SSA on Youths, Students Affairs*

BENIN ~ Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun has earlier today appointed renowned Youths and Students Rights Advocate, Odiahi Thomas Ikhine as Senior Special Assistant on Youths and Students Affairs. 


According to the clerk of the House, Alhaji Audu Omogbai, the appointment letter which was dated 28th September, 2022 takes immediate effect from 1st September 2022, adding that the appointment is strictly Political and purely attached to the office of the Honourable Speaker.


Esan born Ikhine studied English Language in Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma and has on several occasions added his voice to the growth of Students Unionism within and outside Edo State. 


According to Mega House Tv, public survey shows that the appointment is meritorious and a square peg in a square hole.
