BENIN~ Elderstateman,  renowned Philanthropist, Amb. Wesley Asoro has congratulated Governor Godwin Obaseki and his loyalists on victory secured at the Supreme Court earlier.


The Judgement which finally put to rest the lingering crisis between the Edo Legacy group, led by Chief Dan Orbih and the Governor's group, led by Governor Obaseki over whose candidates are more authentic to fly the party's ticket ahead of the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly election totally ended today at the apex Court rules in Favour of the Governor's group.


The congratulatory message was birthed in the Supreme Court Verdict today where the apex court declared that Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen, Rt. Hon. Roland Asoro, Hon. Omosede Igbinedion, Hon. Bright Iyamu, Hon. Nosa Okunbor, and other Candidates in the Governor's group are the authentic candidates to fly the ticket of the People's Democratic Party as Apex court upholds Appeal Court judgment that Delegate issue is not JUSTIFIABLE as is the internal affairs of the party.
