 Osaigbovo tasks Media Practitioners on needs to condemn evil acts

The Director General of Edo Liaison House, Abuja, Deacon Festus Osaigbovo has yesterday tasked Media Practitioners on need to condemn evil acts perpetrated by enemies of progress in the society, adding that it drives away developments in the region. 


Osaigbovo gave this charge when he played  host to Social Media Practition


ers in Orhionmwon in his Benin City residence. 


During the charge, Osaigbovo condemned the act of inhumane perpetrated by some unknown individuals who recently embarked on the   vandalism of the newly restored electricity line, linking Orhionmwon and Uhunmwonde.


Osaigbovo who hails from Oza Community in Abiokula ward two decried the silent actions of the Media group who didn't bother to condemn the act when the news surfaced the internet space.  


He said "It is high time we started affecting lives positively. As media Practitioners,  you should use your wealth of experience and profession to promote good deeds. It is sad that some persons went ahead to vandalise the electricity line, alongside with cable linking Orhionmwon and Uhunmwonde, an installation which took us (Government and Individuals) several pains, with our resources too"


"No journalist has decided to put up any writeup to condemn the unholy act. Let's keep promoting good works of either individuals or Government, so that Orhionmwon can witness developments. Let's Foster developments across party divide, and shun politics of bitterness so that Orhionmwon will be developed" He added.
