Heavyweight Orhionmwon PDP House of Assembly aspirant, Efenosun steps down for Iyamu

_Iyamu’s aspiration gets major boost as Orhionmwon Political bigwigs, PDP stakeholders, delegates reinstate support. Says No going back_

Ahead of Wednesday State House of Assembly primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, a frontline aspirant of the party, Hon. Vincent Imade popularly known as Efenosun has stepped down from the race for leading aspirant, Ugboko Ward born Comrade Bright Iyamu.

The Evboesi born business guru and CEO of Mikonos Hotels announced his decision to step down for the House of Assembly race on Thursday in Benin City, the state capital.

Announcing the decision, Hon. Efenosun he has x-rayed the antecedent of all the aspirants and birthed a conclusion that there was a need to allow a fellow humanitarian pick the party’s ticket, adding that Comrade Bright Iyamu is as capable as himself, as he pleads for all party leaders, delegates to support the CEO of Rave Group.

Iyamu stressed that he was not actually stepping down, rather “stepping behind selfless Comrade Bright Iyamu who would lead the party to glory in the Edo 2023 State House of Assembly election. I trust him. He can deliver anytime, any day. Let’s support him”

In a chat with Mega House Tv immediately after the announcement, Comrade Iyamu appreciated all for their support as he specially commended Hon. Vincent Imade for the trust reposed in him, assuring that he will not thwart the efforts of Orhionmwon people who have decided to support his aspiration.
