As a child of history and regional orientation, we are in dire need of a formidable and astute Senator, quite different from what currently exists, to join hands with the Obaseki-led administration to conceptualize workable policies and programmes capable of repositioning the Benin nation in particular and Edo in general in the epicentre of Nigeria's political arrangement for improved infrastructure, socio-economic and human capital development
To this end, it becomes necessary to look beyond one's financial firepower that has refused to go round; we must now centre our compass around capacity, ability, accessibility and drive, groundbreaking ideas, we must at this time redefine a new path for the growth and development of Edo South, building a small community of political and developmental reorientation, reconnecting the seven LGAs with each other, reorganising the language, retooling our youths for productive engagement, rebuilding the structure, strengthening our pillars and properly positioning ourselves for emerging challenges.
