Ahead of the next door PDP Party primaries, former Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism, Diaspora Affairs and aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the seat of Orhionmwon South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Osaze Osemwegie Ero has withdrawn from the race.

Osemwegie- Ero, who spoke in an interview with Mega House Tv in Benin City on Monday said he took the decision to support the ambition of the leading aspirant, Comrade Bright Iyamu, who he described as the right man for the job with the endorsement of the majority; delegates, party leaders and overall party faithfuls.

The former Commissioner and Ukpato born leader, who is recently known for his Advocacy against the dehumanization and segregation of the blacks by the whites in western world, however appealed and directed his supporters to cast their votes for Iyamu during the party’s primary  slated for May, adding that he has meticulously surveyed the antecedent of the Ugboko born vibrant youth and find him worthy of the endorsement.

According to him, he can vouch for Iyamu’s integrity and personal intelligence. “It is not rumour. I have decided to step down for Comrade Bright Iyamu from the race ahead of the party’s primary. He is goal oriented like myself and I believe in his strength. I can vouch for his integrity and personal intelligence. Let vibrant youth like Iyamu represent us in Orhionmwon South Constituency”

He added “I have this trust in him that he will not thwart our effort. Defeating any candidate that emerges in other political parties will not be an issue for Iyamu. He is humility personified with capacity. I urge other aspirants under the umbrella of the PDP to support Iyamu because it’s obvious the delegates and all have endorsed him. It’s time to allow those that are vibrant with capable climb the stage of leadership”
