Earlier today, I received this budding star on the rise, (young Creative Writer), in my office.



A Junior Secondary School one student of Ugiomon Secondary School, Benin City, Edo State 

He said, “Sir, I have read two of your books ‘An Egg With two Yolks’ and ‘Oil Village’ several times. The books have inspired me a lot and I told my parents and siblings to help me locate you, so that I can make you my MENTOR. Currently, I have written about three manuscripts and I am sure that knowing you in person will help my writing career. I will love to publish it and be like you some day”

My response was simply “Welcome to my Mentorship class. The writing community is in need of teen authorship in lieu of catching them young for societal transformation. With God on our side, your future is bright and I will do my best to promote your writing career”
