Politics; a game of number, Hon. Ugiagbe charges members of Ward Development Committee to embrace INEC /voters registration

_Admonishes Chairmen/Secretaries of 77 Edo South Ward Dev’ Committee on need to sustain passion for service_

_Prepares to hit Edo Central and North for sensitization, as well as Commend members for supporting the developmental stride of Obaseki_

Immediate past Special Adviser to Gov. Godwin Obaseki on Community Development Matters, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe has yesterday enlightened the members of Ward Development Committee on the need to embrace the ongoing INEC voters registration.

The Orhionmwon Leader  said this in a review, recommendation, monitoring and evaluation meeting  with the Chairmen and Secretaries of the 77 wards of WDC in Edo South Senatorial District. 

Hon. Ugiagbe however stressed on the need to sustain the developmental blueprint initiative by Governor Obaseki, adding that it remains an integral part in lieu of attracting development to the society, reinstating that the Ward Development Committee will not fail to achieve its purpose, which is to ignite development. He further commended the committee members for their tireless efforts which visibly culminated the reelection victory of Gov. Godwin Obaseki and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)

Hon. Ugiagbe however disclosed plans to visit Edo Central and North zone of the Ward Development Committee for the same voter sensitization as he gave them target for the exercise.

He further said he is fully dedicated to ensuring that the 192 wards of Edo State attains encouraging number of registration.

On his part, the former Senior Special Assistant to Gov. Obaseki on Local Government and Community Development Matters, Hon. Orobosa Osaigbovo appreciated members for the trust reposed on the former Community Development Boss, adding that Hon. Newman Ugiagbe is known for transparency and endowed with capabilities of enthroning good governance.

The Enogie of Iguogbe, HRH Enogie Ibie Okhionkpaimwonyi however commended the community Development boss for not neglecting the Committee members and prays for God to continually protect him and grant him success in his political sojourn.

The climax of the event was an enumeration of the proposed School feeding Program by the Edo State Government, Mobilization of members in pursuance to the ongoing voters registration and overall review of previous achievement of the Ward Development Committee.
