As Bayelsa teams emerge double in 2021 Aiteo Cup champions

Yesterday, Football Enthusiasts and Edo Stakeholders x-rayed the unfading blueprint of Gov. Obaseki led administration in Sports development and restructuring.

The Stakeholders unveiled this in an interview with Mega House Tv,  immediately after a Novelty Football Match between Edo State Government/ Football Veterans VS NFF Board Members.

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu who wore the Jersey number 2 with a tremendous performance in synergy with other stakeholders were full of ecstasy as Edo accommodate the final of the 2021 AITEO CUP which was a double victory for Bayelsa, as the male defeated  Nassarawa and the Queens defeated the Robo Queens FC   for the Nigerian Premier League at the newly transformed Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

The Stakeholders however commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for the meticulous discretion in ensuring that the sport sector gets a benefitting accolades, as they mirrors the economic potentials of the exercise.

Ambassador of peace and renowned hotelier, Amb. Wesley Asoro further said Hotels in Benin City are all filled up, following the recent bookings by football officials and sport enthusiast who travelled far and near to watch the final football Match in Edo State, adding that it is a part of development for Edo State.

Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Roland Asoro said the 'Making Edo Great Agenda' of the wake and See Governor promises more transformational policies and developmental agenda, assuring that other sectors will no doubt be transformed like the new look of Sport, Basic Education, Civil Service Commission revamping and others.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Big Joe Motors, Comrade Sunny Osayande scored the final goal which ended up the Novelty Football Match 2:0 in favour of Edo State Government/Football Veterans.
