Edo State, Federal Govt, the Benin Monarch have no political axe to grind

Benin City: Award winning Author and Nollywood Film Producer, Goodluck Osama Ogbeide has warned mischief makers and anti- good governance agencies shun to instigating crisis between Edo State Government, the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Benin Monarch over the misconception of whom and where to deposit the artefacts which was previously looted by the German Government.

 In a clarification interview, Comrade Ogbeide who doubled as the Chief Executive Officer of Mega House Entertainment and former Chairman of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Edo State Chapter admonished all and sundry to stop igniting crisis between the Reverend Oba, His Royal Majesty, Omo N' Oba N' Edo, Uku-Akpolorkpolor, Oba Ewuare II, and the people's Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki whom have  persistently shown his unrelenting value and regard for the Benin Monarch, where he sprouted out.

Comrade Ogbeide further inform Edo People that Gov. Obaseki has grown too tall to disappoint Edo people by allowing foreigners enjoy the fruits of our labour, adding  that Edo State Government had earlier led delegation which comprises of Federal Government, The Benin Royal Family, and the German Government, all in lieu of ensuring that the deals favours Edo people whom are the original owner of the looted artefacts without prejudice.

 Comrade Ogbeide however commended the Benin Monarch for the recent interview granted which to him provided  a lasting solution by it's  decisive tendency of ensuring the artefacts be returned to where it was looted, which further suggest a Museum in Benin City, which will no doubt be possible to achieve.

"We should stop washing our dirty linen outside and protect our own at all cost" Ogbeide added. The Oba of Benin is the protected respect and umbrella that Covers Edo N' Uzomon, likewise Gov. Godwin Obaseki remains the true vine who hears the cry of the people. None can deny the fact that the duo have persistently embarked on developmental struggle and succeeded together. For example, the synergy of the duo in Combatting the nefarious omen of Human Trafficking/ illegal migration, the CDA Ban which ignited the Protection of Property Law, just to mention a few. Edo people should be wise and stop instigating crisis. We are one. It is not in our blood to support the father to rebel the son, neither is it in our blood to support the son in mounting rebellious propaganda against the father", Comrade Ogbeide added.
