Earlier today, it was a gathering of creme de la creme in Benin City, as several dignitaries from Edo State and beyond were all on ground to celebrate Elder Ben Oghumu, who is the immediate past Chairman of Orhionmwon Chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC who recently clocked 68 years.
Political associates, Family members of Elder Ben Oghumu who graced the occasion, eulogized him for his determination and resilient spirit in adding his voice to developmental issues and contemporary politics.
The Servant of God who dished out the sermon, Bishop Mike Laju owner stressed on the need to identify and celebrate God’s supremacy, in the life of Elder Ben Oghumu for his steadfastness in serving God.
Various Leaders who were on ground however described Elder Oghumu as a jolly good fellow, recounting beautiful memories and true friendship he had with them.
They further prayed that God grant Him all round miracles, sound health, strength and live to celebrate many more years on earth.
The celebrant, Elder Oghumu says he feels joyous, fulfilled and grateful to God, for His kindness, preservation and victory over the years, adding that he will not relent in giving thanks to God almighty.
He further appreciated God Almighty for the victory secured by the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Execellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki.
The Birthday celebration which started at The Mega Church, popularly known as 'MOG Chapel' at the Sapele Road axis of Benin City, ended at the residence of the celebrant, after which friends and family members rejoiced .
High point of the event was the cutting of Birthday cake and photograph, with family members, friends and well wishers .

Festus Osaigbovo, Members representing Orhionmwon East in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Nosa Okunbor, the Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Hotel and Asoro Ocean Limited, Amb. Wesley Asoro.
