Political Leaders of Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State have once again expressed absolute unity and developmental bond in quest for repositioning the Council from its dwindling, slumber- like and underdeveloped state, irrespective of Political Party affiliation and divide.
The Political Leaders unveiled the developmental synergy during the meeting called at the instance of the Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Hon. Sylvester Okoro following the lingering proposed relocation of Federal College of Forestry Resources Management, cited in Sokponba Community, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State to Fugar, Etsako Central Local Local Government Area of Edo State by Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), who controls the institution.
The leaders however resolved that Orhionmwon cannot afford to allow the socio-economic developmental project slide out of the Council, which was already battling with underdevelopment, adding that it is an attempt to deny Orhionmwon her birth right, as they craved the indulgence of Orhionmwon sons and daughters to remain calm, as they assured that they would not allow the council to be further deprived of natural endowment project, which sought to ignite development.
Recall that Orhionmwon Local Government Chairman, Hon. Sylvester Okoro had earlier the year served a one month Pre- Action Notice on the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), in pursuant to section 19 (1) of the establishment, through her Lawyer, Famous Osawaru Esq, of Famous Pen Law.

The Member representing Orhionmwon / Uhunmwonde in Federal House of Representatives, Abuja, Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren further assured that he would use his good offices in delivering Orhionmwon through the Upper Chamber, adding that he was already on the issue.
The Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly who doubles as honourable member representing Orhionmwon South, Rt. Hon. Roland Asoro further reinstated his commitment to continuously support the struggle, adding that he would never relent in pursuing the course which tends to bring development to Orhionmwon.
Hon. Nosa Okunbor who represents Orhionmwon East in Edo State House of Assembly said he will continuously work in synergy with other lawmakers to ensure the victory song.
Meanwhile, the Former Special Adviser to Gov. Godwin Obaseki, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe, alongside with the Executive Director of Revenue in Edo Inland Revenue Service, Hon. Charles Osahon Imaru and the member representing Orhionmwon in EDSOGPADEC Board, Hon. Charles Aideyan unanimously reassured the Governor's commitment to call a spade a spade, assuring that Gov. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki will no doubt support any activity which sought to mortgaged Orhionmwon, adding that those behind the manoeuvring and lobbying will be put to shame, all for the victory song of Orhionmwon people.
