As the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki prepares to dish out portfolio to deserving party faithfuls whose head fits the cap, some political puzzling pundits and gladiators have all subscribed to the notion of scandalizing names of deserving appointees who served blamelessly and exceedingly in the previous era.
Hence, this article tends to re- orient baby politicians and self serving miscreants with the ridiculous script to reduce the pedigree of the reverend and honoured Deacon Newman Ugiagbe, who served as the Special Adviser to Governor Obaseki on Community Matters.
It became so imperative to identify some key players who in one way or the other played vital role in synergy with the Governor to soften the pedal of Edo governance. Many people are not aware of the tireless efforts of Deacon Ugiagbe, probably for research reasons.
Just like the biblical described mustard seed, Hon. Ugiagbe has systematically carved a nitch for himself by painstakingly handling the portfolio without blemish and negligence, attracting development to the overall communities in Edo state, with verifiable evidence to show.
Edo people in general are not unaware of the initiative of Ward Development Committee conceived by Gov. Goodwin Obaseki, nurtured and refined by Hon. Newman Ugiagbe, an initiative which careters for the overall interest of the communities which encompasses the One hundred and ninety two (192) Wards of Edo state.
Hon. Ugiagbe has no doubt redefined communal restructuring with his portfolio, and as we speak, there is no community which Gov. Obaseki doesn't know the challenges bedevilling them. This also added to the smooth visitation of the Governor during the ward to ward visitation, prior to Edo Gubernatorial election. The ward community was an icing to easy development as nurtured by Gov. Obaseki and refined by Deacon Ugiagbe.
Politically and professionally, Hon. Ugiagbe has done tremendously, as well as proven his capability beyond measures within and outside the political space.
Hon. Ugiagbe is no doubt a grassroots mobilizer who have his people at his finger tips, this is because of his humble ability with the potentials to carrying everyone along.
Hon. Newman is a vibrant leader whose voice and integrity cannot be swept under the grass, unlike some redundant servitude who are in governance for their self serving purpose.

Ugiagbe but to place the horse before the cart and crave your indulgence to continue to impact life with your sagacity in ensuring that Edo becomes a better place worthy of emulations, irrespective of the ignoramus act of some self serving servitudes.
