*Former Edo Health Commissioner, Hon.  Patrick Okundia congratulates Gov. Godwin Obaseki on positive Federal High Court, Abuja ruling*

_hails  High Court’s judgement of alleged forgery case against Obaseki, as well as congratulates Edo people_

Benin City: The immediate past Edo Commissioner for Health,  Hon. Dr. Patrick Okundia has congratulated the Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency,  Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki on the recent victory secured at Federal High Court, Abuja, regard the dismissal of an 
alleged certificate forgery suit instituted against the reverend Governor by the All Progressive Congress (APC) 

In an interview with Mega House TV earlier today,  Dr. Okundia hailed the Judiciary for the  installation of judicial hope,  adding that the nation will continue to take her pride of place if the judiciary, which is the last hope of the common man is hellbent on delivery the desired justice,  fairness and equity.

Recall that, Honourable Justice Adamu Mohammed, in his ruling said the plaintiffs failed to prove their case beyond reasonable doubt that the first defendant, (Mr. Obaseki) forged his certificates, adding that “Allegation of forgery borders on crime which must be proved beyond reasonable doubt"

While giving the final judgement, Honourable Justice Mohammed added, “Having thoroughly analysed the evidence of this case, it is the conclusion of this court that the plaintiff did not forge his O’Level Certificate, his HSC certificate, and particularly his University of Ibadan degree certificate. Accordingly, the plaintiffs’ case is dismissed"

Hon. Okundia further said he was optimistic that Gov. Godwin Obaseki will be victorious in the ruling, due to his sagacity and prowess,  noting that the prestigious and award winning National figure was too reverend to involved in a forgery case.
