*Edo Stakeholders sues for peace in Novelty Football match played in honour of Comr. Osayande's Birthday*

Stakeholders, business and Political associates has buttressed the need to embrace peace as the only tool for enthroning  good governance. The stakeholders which was made up of accomplished, seasoned business and political icons made this call during the Novelty football match played in honour of Comrade Sunny Osayande, MD of Big Joe Ventures Limited on Saturday 23rd, 2021 at the Western Boys School Mini Stadia, ahead of his birthday ceremony slated for Sunday 24th January, 2021.

In an interview with Journalists, the celebrant Comrade Sunny Osayande outlined the role of unity in peaceful coexistence adding that the major purpose for the Novelty football match is to bring friends together in oneness using the birthday platform as he appreciated friends, professional football stars, family members and business partners for coming far and near to celebrate with him on his birthday.

The Novelty football Match which was a tug of war between the All Stars Team and the Celebrant Team ended in 2 against 1 in favour of the Celebrant Team. 

Mega House TV reports that the tension of the match started following an early goal by Efe, who got a professional finishing from Sixtus.

After which the former Super Eagles Icon and Bendel Insurance Coach, Bodwick Bazuaye gave the net a shocking revelation in the second half of the match. This equalization was the last straw that breaks the Carmel's back,  as the Celebrant,  Comrade Sunny Osayande scored the winning goal with a penalty kick awarded to the Celebrant Team. 

The substitution of the peace Ambassador, Amb. Wesley Asoro, who wore the Jersey number eleven during the second half was the redefinition and restructuring of the Team celebrant as the game became more balanced with other vital opportunities before the final whistle. 

In an interview, Amb. Wesley Asoro said as a footballer and football enthusiast he had saw the lapses in the celebrant Team when he arrived and decided to work on the formation and which eventually added to the victory. He however appreciated the celebrant,  Comrade Osayande for organizing the novelty football match, adding that it a vital opportunity to discuss with friends and colleagues within and outside the country. 

The audience who were at the mini stadia further appreciated Gov. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki for the redefinition of sport which is visible in the restructuring of the Western Boys mini stadia.

Mega House TV however confirmed, the Chairman of Esan North East Local Government Area, Hon. Okoibhole Austine as the man of the match,  following his rare energetic display and control of central field with accurate passes and assists, which culminated the victory.

On his part, the Deputy Governor of Edo State who was unavoidably absent and ably represented by the Former Commissioner for Youths and Sports,  Hon. Damian Lawal appreciated friends and colleagues for celebrating with the celebrant,  assuring that Edo State Government will continue to promote activities which sought to ignite peaceful coexistence and above all,  remains dedicated to the promotion of sports activities.

The climax of the birthday celebration was the cutting of cake by the celebrant and friends as the reunion of celebration continues till on Sunday 24th January, 2021 for the official celebration.
