*Amb. Wesley Asoro reinstates commitment to extend philanthropic gesture to Edo people and beyond*

The Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Hotels Limited and Chairman,  Asoro Ocean Limited, Amb.Wesley Asoro has earlier today unveiled plans to extend his philanthropic gesture to the people of Edo State and beyond. 

Amb. Asoro made the call when newly elected Executive Members of the ITV Chapel of Nigerian Union of Journalist led by the Chairperson, Comrade Best Mbiere paid him a courtesy and familiarization visit in his office at the G. R. A axis of Benin City.

The newly inaugurated Executive Members described the Ambassador as a father of all,  whose feather is widely opened to accommodate all, adding that his philanthropic gesture is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. 


In the introductory remark, Mr.  Emmanuel Akpolorlor said "We decided to reach out to some prominent Edo sons and daughters who are currently making Edo proud and after meticulous survey,  we found out that you are one of them. 

In her words,  Comrade Best Mbiere said, "On the 23rd of December, Independence Television and Radio made history, as it witnessed the election of the first Female Chairman of ITV Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, in spite of the challenges, not excluding the gender factor"

She added,  "To God be the glory,  I emerged Victorious. I am very delighted for the opportunity and for honouring our invitation, in spite of the short notice. We are aware of your philanthropic gesture and hopeful of hand of fellowship too"

In his response, Amb. Wesley Asoro appreciated the delegation for their trust and believe in his capabilities, adding that his hands is always opened to all who sought to identify with him.

In his words, "I am sincerely surprised being the first person to have received this huge honour from the newly elected Executive Members. I wholeheartedly say a big Congratulations to the Executive Members. It is not easy to contest election and emerge victorious.  I also congratulate you,  Comrade Best Mbiere on your ten years celebration in journalism. By God's grace,  I will do my best to support your administration. I am committed and dedicated to extending my philanthropic gesture to all and sundry.
